One of the key attributes of the perfect English Country pub is that it is at the heart of its local community. That’s why we believe it’s so important to give something back and detailed below are just a couple of things we are doing locally to help out in some small way.
Our Community
Community is incredibly important to us and as part of this, we help to fundraise for a local charity. For more information on which charity we are supporting this year, speak to a local team member at the pub.
Hatch Warren Cycling and Running Clubs
We are proud to host the Hatch Warren Beggarwood Cycling and Running clubs, who use our car park before and after training and events and also frequent our pub to sample our delicious food and drink when they’re finished. We hope both clubs continue to use us as a meeting point for many years to come.
Hatch Warren CyclingPark and Stride Scheme
Because we care about our community, we offer a Park and Stride scheme for parents of our local infant and junior schools. To avoid parking on the main road outside Hatch Warren School, why not park at the Portsmouth Arms instead and then walk your Children safely to school every day!

Enjoy 15% off your whole bill when you dine with us Monday to Sunday when you present a valid Blue Light Card.
